Google's most recent update to its Veo [[generative AI]] video platform, [Veo 3 was announced at Google i/o](https://blog.google/technology/ai/google-flow-veo-ai-filmmaking-tool/) on May 20, 2025 and instantly startled the world with its significant step forward in terms of realistic video generation. In combination with a new filmmaking tool dubbed Flow, the Veo 3 release set off a wave of phenomenal AI video creations that producers were able to pull together in record time.
